新闻短评：家具市场吸烟 9人进了看守所
事件——
1月7日，山东淄博市的9名市民因在家具批发市场内吸烟而被“请”进了看守所，被给予行政拘留2天的处罚。据悉，9人中，有家具批发市场的经营业主，也有运输家具的司机。
评说——
这是自去年11月国务院法制办公布卫生计生委起草的《公共场所控制吸烟条例（送审稿）》拟规定所有室内公共场所一律禁止吸烟以来，淄博市首批因吸烟受罚的市民。
大型商场、网吧、游戏厅等人员密集场所，一旦发生火灾，会造成很大的人员和财产损失，因此在这些场所是不允许吸烟的。化工企业，尤其是生产易燃易爆物品的车间，更不允许吸烟。
我国《消防法》第六十三条规定，违反规定使用明火作业或者在具有火灾、爆炸危险的场所吸烟、使用明火的，处警告或者五百元以下罚款；情节严重的，处五日以下拘留。
