灭火器上的字母代表什么？

国家标准规定，灭火器型号应以汉语拼音大写字母和阿拉伯数字标于筒体，如“MF2”等。

其中第一个字母M代表灭火器

第二个字母代表灭火剂类型
（F是干粉灭火剂、FL是磷铵干粉、T是二氧化碳灭火剂、Y是卤代烷灭火剂、P是泡沫、QP是轻水泡沫灭火剂、SQ是清水灭火剂）；

后面的阿拉伯数字代表灭火剂重量或容积，一般单位为每千克或升。
